Why Attendance
Accurate registers in seconds, and parents told the same morning.
Corevia Attendance lets teachers take registers from any device in a few taps, or captures arrivals automatically at the gate with RFID cards, QR codes or biometric devices. Unexplained absences trigger alerts to parents, late arrivals are tracked with reasons, and attendance patterns are reported for pastoral teams and statutory returns.
Daily & period registers
Take morning, afternoon or lesson-by-lesson registers, pre-filled from the timetable.
Automated check-in
Record arrivals with RFID cards, QR codes or compatible biometric devices.
Absence alerts
Notify parents by push, SMS or WhatsApp when a child is unexpectedly absent.
Late tracking
Record late arrivals with minutes and reasons, and spot persistent patterns.
Absence codes
Use configurable authorised and unauthorised codes to match local requirements.
Staff attendance
Track staff sign-in alongside students for safety and cover planning.
01 · Check-in
Registers that take themselves at the gate
Students tap an RFID card, scan a QR code or use a biometric reader on arrival. Teachers open a register that is already pre-filled and only need to confirm exceptions — or take a manual register from their phone when needed.
- RFID, QR and biometric check-in
- Manual registers on any device
- Offline capture that syncs later
02 · Alerts
Parents know before the first break
When a student is marked absent without a reason, parents receive an alert and can reply with an explanation. Office staff see which absences are still unexplained and who has already been contacted.
- Push, SMS and WhatsApp alerts
- Parent-submitted absence reasons
- Escalation for repeated absence
03 · Reporting
Spot patterns early, report with confidence
Attendance percentages by student, class and year group highlight persistent absence and lateness trends. Reports can be exported in the format your board or local authority requires.
- Persistent absence thresholds
- Trends by class, year and campus
- Exports for statutory returns
